Description

Respiratory Therapist Tech - Day Shift

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Summary

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport ventilators.

Schedule

Day Shift: 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
Three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours total)
No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Respiratory Therapist.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Additional Requirements

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance.
