CT Technologist – General Imaging

Shift & Hours

• 10-hour evening shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• No on-call required

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT imaging
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT)
• Skills: IV skills, Power Injection
• Experience with GE equipment mandatory
• Comfortable working in trauma, stroke, and fast-paced environments

Patient & Work Environment

• Patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Level 1 Trauma Center, Level III Perinatal Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Teaching hospital with Magnet designation
• Average scans per day: approximately 15
• Radiologist resident onsite
• Techs do not process scans themselves; processing is done by a third party
• Support staff includes receptionist (dayshift), hospitalist/physician available after hours, transport aid, and tech aide

Orientation & Scheduling

• 1 day orientation on the unit
• Up to 7 days off can be approved during the contract

Equipment & Systems

• Charting and equipment systems: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis

• Weekend night shift staffing: 1 tech + tech aide on Friday, 2 techs + tech aide on Saturday and Sunday
