Work Schedule

• Day shift, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Block scheduling accommodated
• Guaranteed hours

Unit and Patient Ratios

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• Floating within scope between similar units required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Certifications and Licenses

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Other certifications (e.g., NIH Stroke Certification, TNCC) preferred but not mandatory

Additional Requirements

• No pending licenses accepted
• Background check within 6 months covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification (diploma, degree, or transcripts)
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 45 days of start, updated annually
• Physical exam or statement of good health within 1 year prior to assignment
• Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B status verification
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• References: 3 required (most recent manager, previous manager, peer)
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• State-specific clearances for Pennsylvania (Child Abuse Search, Department of Aging and Human Services Fingerprints, PATCH Search)

This position is ideal for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RNs comfortable with acute care settings, telemetry monitoring, and working flexible schedules including weekends.
