CT Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Redwood Falls, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- On-call shift: 1 day per week (Sunday–Thursday: 10 hours call; Friday–Saturday: 12 hours call)
- On-call hours: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- Weekends: As needed
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Traveler’s primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the facility
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT X-Ray certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in CT and MRI
- MRI experience is a bonus
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check within 1 year, including:
- 7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide
- Education verification (diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party verification)
- International background checks if candidate has lived/worked outside the US
- GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
- Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprinting clearance required prior to start (candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending unless a “more time needed” letter is approved)
- Candidates must complete the Minnesota DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Drug testing (9-panel) within 1 year of start (not required annually)
- Two professional references from recent employers within 2 years
- Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Tdap vaccination required (no religious declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines (2-step PPD or equivalent within 90 days of start)
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required annually (mask required if declined)
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Photo for badge: grey background, no selfies, JPG format with name
- Dress code: review required prior to start
- Confidentiality agreement must be signed before starting
- Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
- Candidates must return badges to manager on last day of assignment
Additional Notes
- Annual background checks required by the staffing agency for direct candidates
- Candidates with gaps of 30+ days between contracts or expiring background checks must submit new background checks
- Fingerprint clearance process includes registration, fingerprinting within 2 weeks, and completion of consent/disclosure forms
- If candidate is not within driving distance of a fingerprinting location, travel to a location is required before assignment start
