Description

Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Carmel, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a community hospital with 16 operating rooms.
Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Bariatrics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Plastics, Spine, Robotics, Thoracic, Peripheral Vascular, and Pediatric surgery.
The traveler will orient on day shift for 1-2 weeks before transitioning to nights.
First-time travelers are welcome.
Required skill: Circulating nurse duties.
Charting system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience, with CVOR experience within the last year.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
