Description
Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a community hospital with 16 operating rooms.
- Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Bariatrics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Plastics, Spine, Robotics, Thoracic, Peripheral Vascular, and Pediatric surgery.
- The traveler will orient on day shift for 1-2 weeks before transitioning to nights.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Required skill: Circulating nurse duties.
- Charting system: Cerner.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience, with CVOR experience within the last year.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
