Mammography Technologist - Bronx, NY
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 8 hours per day, approximately 34 hours per week (8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch)
- Work Locations: Main hospital and ambulatory center
- Department: 3 mammography rooms equipped with GE Pristina machines
- Typical Workload: 50-75 mammography studies per day, including screening, diagnostic, and 3-D Tomosynthesis
- Supervision: Lead Technologist on each shift; Radiologist available in-house
- Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs (provided)
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No current weekend or holiday requirements; weekend shifts may be possible in the future
- Call/Standby: None required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in New York
- Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Mammography (ARRT-M) certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Additional Information
- No IV starts required
- No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
