CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Contract)

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (rotating weekend overnights)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Backfill position for a CT Technologist in a freestanding Emergency Department imaging unit.
• Perform all CT and X-ray exams ordered in the ED setting.
• Work with equipment including GE 64 Scanner, digital X-ray room, and digital portable X-ray.
• Use Meditech EMR system.
• Call is optional.

Unit Profile

• Small team: 2 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, 1 Radiology Tech.
• Permanent positions available on the unit.
• Dress code: Olive green scrub tops and black scrub bottoms.
• Preferred personality traits: Flexible.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Trauma and Emergency Department settings.
