Description

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Travel/Contract)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work primarily on Medical Surgical (Med Surg) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors; floating between these units is required.
Patient ratios typically 1:5 or 1:6.
Shift schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, floating, and holidays as needed.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina.
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Experience working in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
