Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice (Nights)

Location: Christiansburg, Virginia

Job Description

Handle calls appropriately by phone or through home/facility visits when necessary or requested.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Electronically document all activity at the end of on-call shifts, including calls and visits.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Dress code is business casual with no specific scrub color required.
The role involves working primarily with patients who have life-limiting illnesses, providing in-home care and support.
Emphasis on professional competence, integrity, and honoring the dignity of patients and families.
