Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment at a large regional hospital with 800 beds, including a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit. The facility is recognized for clinical excellence and patient safety.

Unit Information

• Department: Diagnostic Imaging (DX Radiology)
• Location: 2nd Floor, F Tower
• Staff per Shift:

  • Day: 16 technologists + supervisor
  • Evening: 10 technologists, 2 student techs + supervisor
  • Night: 4 technologists + supervisor
• Equipment: GE Rad rooms (including portable), Shiatzu, OEC C-arms, Medtronics O-arms
• EMR System: Cerner Rad Net
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Radiologic Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Skills

• Fluoroscopic procedures experience is highly desirable

Work Environment and Expectations

• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call duties may be required
