Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job – Burlington, North Carolina

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Call Requirement:

  • 12 call days in an 8-week schedule
  • Call hours: Weekdays 5 PM – 7 AM, weekends 24 hours (Fri–Mon)
  • Assigned 2-3 weekends on call per 8 weeks

Job Description

• Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
• Scrubs provided
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Flexible scheduling required
• Weekends and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
• Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification by a third party, including foreign equivalency if applicable
• Employment verification for the last 5 years
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B titer or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
• Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year (N95 approved types)
• Pass/fail testing including EPIC and Dysrhythmia/EKG exams as applicable
• Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal
• References: Two supervisory references required from clinical assignments within the last 24 months (one within 12 months)
• Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
