Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Charlotte, North Carolina
Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry)
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Population: Pulmonary, general medical, patients with longer length of stay, trach patients, COPD, Asthma
- Unit Procedures: Care for pulmonary patients including trachs, chest tubes, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP (no ventilators)
- Unit Systems: EPIC, PYXIS, SBAR
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1 (can run 1 over grid to 6:1)
- Floating: Required as needed within the service line
- Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks (total 6 weekend shifts)
- Scheduling: Self-schedule initially, then balanced by leadership based on needs and RTO
- Scrubs: Navy blue and white (any combination), scrubs not provided
- Call Requirement: None
- RTO (Return to Office) Policy: No RTO after booking; call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation or Do Not Rehire status
- EKG Testing: Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
