CT Technologist Position
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Job Summary
- Perform a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) procedures under the direction of qualified medical and technical staff.
- Use prescribed levels of ionizing radiation to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
- Work with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
- Able to insert and remove IVs.
- Follow all federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Onboarding and Credential Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and attestations.
- Verification of professional license and certifications (primary source verification required within 30 days of start).
- Fit testing for N95 respirator within 365 days prior to start, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity proof.
- TB screening within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months; includes skin test or blood test.
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start, updated if break >6 months.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, including county and international residence history for last 7 years.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start.
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Education verification of highest level achieved.
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
- Submission of a detailed resume covering the past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
- Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- Submission of candidate coversheet for initial assignment.
- Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any extensions.
Additional Notes
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
- Name change documentation may be required if credentials do not match legal name.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
