CT Technologist Position

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)

Job Summary

• Perform a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) procedures under the direction of qualified medical and technical staff.
• Use prescribed levels of ionizing radiation to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
• Work with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
• Able to insert and remove IVs.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Onboarding and Credential Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation and attestations.
• Verification of professional license and certifications (primary source verification required within 30 days of start).
• Fit testing for N95 respirator within 365 days prior to start, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity proof.
• TB screening within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months; includes skin test or blood test.
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start, updated if break >6 months.
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, including county and international residence history for last 7 years.
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start.
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Education verification of highest level achieved.
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
• Submission of a detailed resume covering the past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
• Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
• Submission of candidate coversheet for initial assignment.
• Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any extensions.

Additional Notes

• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
• Name change documentation may be required if credentials do not match legal name.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
