Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Shift: Night shift, Monday through Thursday
  • Hours: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • Schedule: Block schedule, no weekends or on-call required
  • Float: No floating between units
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1
  • Shift Description:
    • Night shift covering both CT and X-ray duties
    • After midnight, the tech is the sole provider performing CT and X-rays
  • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
  • Beds: 104 staffed beds
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Parking: Free

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

  • Competency Exams: As applicable by profession and specialty
  • Skills Checklist: Required annually for applicable units
  • Work History: Employment application covering at least last 5 years; must include month/year format for dates worked
  • References: Must align with booked specialty; supervisor references preferred
  • Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of required annual modules via LMS (Workramp) including core, specialty-specific, and regional modules as applicable
  • Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities within the region

  • This position is a weekday night shift with a block schedule (Monday through Thursday).
  • The tech will be the only CT and X-ray technologist on duty after midnight.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements.
  • Free parking available.
  • Epic charting system used.
