Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide safe, competent, and individualized nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
• Interpret medical care plans and assess patients’ clinical conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record vital signs, medical information, and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific care requirements.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients accurately.

Summary

This is a 13-week long-term assignment for a Medical/Surgical RN in Boston, MA, working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
