Sonographer Position

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with some rotational weekend call
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift

Job Description

• Perform sonography with focus on Abdomen and OB/GYN imaging
• Requires 3+ years of experience in sonography

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience specifically in OB/GYN sonography
• Current ARDMS certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Professional license verification as required for the position (no conditional licenses accepted)
• Must meet all credentialing and onboarding requirements including:

  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date (no exemptions allowed)
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
  • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Physician health statement within 1 year of start date
  • Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists
• Must provide:

  • Resume with last 7 years of work experience including city and state
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
  • Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission
  • Candidate submission coversheet

Additional Information

• Background checks and credential verifications must be current and updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
• Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documents
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
