Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Shift Length: 12 hours per day
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team in Labor and Delivery.
- Must be comfortable floating to Post-Partum 1-2 shifts per week.
- Work involves high acuity and high-risk Labor and Delivery cases at a high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month).
- Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
- Experience with EPIC STORK system is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with high-risk patients.
- Experience within the previous year at larger high-volume delivery centers with 200-300 deliveries per month.
- Post-Partum experience.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
- Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Valid driver’s license.
Additional Requirements
- Must have completed multiple travel contracts (preferred).
- Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible.

Orientation Dates
Orientation sessions are scheduled on multiple dates from July through November (specific dates provided during onboarding).
Overtime & Call Details
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge/precept pay available.
Notes for Candidates
- Candidates will be contacted via phone/text from a 405 area code for interviews.
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
