Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Floating required between two medical-surgical units.
• Work areas include:

  • 5th floor: Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, Surgical, Stroke
  • 6th floor: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Cardiac, Respiratory, Dialysis, Hospice
• Unit size: 36 beds
• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on patient acuity
• May be required to work on holidays such as Easter, Mother’s Day, or Memorial Day
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
• Blocked scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
• Return to Office (RTO) maximum: 36 hours unless otherwise discussed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
