Description
Registered Polysomnograph Sleep Tech
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 hours (three 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends)
Job Description
- Perform, analyze, and coordinate diagnostic sleep studies including PSG, MSLT, and CPAP.
- Ensure accurate data collection and scoring for physician interpretation.
- Independently conduct high-quality testing and monitor/maintain equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to support optimal performance.
- Assess patient status throughout testing, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain clear communication with care teams to support continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation for billing purposes.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and complete assigned projects.
- Facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract; cancellations are not limited to 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of polysomnographer experience within the last year.
Additional Information
- Significant requested time off (RTO) cannot be accommodated during this contract.
- All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
- Contract start and end dates, as well as RTO, must match exactly between agency and facility agreements.
