Description

Registered Nurse (Long-Term Care) - Wisconsin

Job Type

Duration: 13 weeks

Location

Mauston, Wisconsin

Job Summary

Assist with day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting
Provide exceptional healthcare with accuracy and attention to detail

Essential Duties

Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians and families
Complete resident assessments and medication administration following the 5 Rights
Perform wound care and assessments as needed
Assist CNAs with call light responses
Monitor residents for condition changes and act as floor leader when needed
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership
Maintain accurate and thorough resident records and charting
Perform other duties as assigned

Shift Details

Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Guaranteed 36 hours during week 2

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience within the last year
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
