Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Temp Position

Job Description

• Temporary Certified Surgical Tech needed for general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular, and urology cases.
• Completion of the facility’s Operating Room Orientation is required.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification through NBSTSA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must hold a valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required by the state for temporary staffing).
• Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular, and urology procedures.
• One supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment required.
• Work history and skills checklist (updated within the past year) must be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience as a Certified Surgical Tech is highly preferred.
