Description
Surgical Technologist - Contract Opportunity
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Maintain sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room and supplies efficiently for each surgical case.
- Collaborate with the Perioperative team to provide care according to AORN standards during the intraoperative period.
- Assist with stocking and ordering supplies for the department.
- Provide additional supportive patient care as directed.
Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Workdays: Wednesday through Friday
- Shift hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Orthopedic surgical experience
- Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery system
Additional Information
- Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (approximate elevation 8,000 feet)
- Not accepting any Return to Office (RTO) requests
- Travelers are responsible for their own housing; housing costs are high, especially in winter. Nearby towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs may offer more affordable options. Typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt is around $3,500/month.
