Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• Options: 4 shifts of 12 hours (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM) or 3 shifts of 12 hours (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
• No weekends
• No on-call

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
• Must be proficient in starting IVs
• First-time travelers accepted
• Traveler’s primary residence must be within 25 miles of the facility

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, including:

  • 7-year search
  • SS Trace
  • Counties
  • Sex offender registry
  • Nationwide check
  • Education verification (diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party verification)
  • International searches if candidate has lived/worked outside the US
• MN DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required before start (no pending fingerprints allowed)
• GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Drug test (9 panel) within 1 year of start (not required for client clearance but must be done)
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tdap vaccination (no religious declination accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
  • Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declined)
• Fit mask test (N95) required

Orientation & Facility Requirements

• Education modules (~16 hours) completed during orientation
• Dress code: RRTs wear dove gray (light gray) scrubs
• Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
• Badge must be returned on last day of assignment

Additional Notes

• Two references from recent employers within 2 years required (for non-clinical roles)
• Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
• Work history verification required for non-clinical candidates (3 years)
• Candidate must complete MN DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract to proceed with fingerprinting process
• Candidates must find a livescan location for fingerprinting within Minnesota or out of state before assignment start date; travel may be required if no local option available

Requirements/Qualifications

• CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography) certification

This position is suitable for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, who hold the required certifications and meet Minnesota state and facility-specific compliance requirements. First-time travel candidates are welcome.
