Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: St Petersburg, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Operating Room (OR) with 7 OR suites
- Staff: Approximately 30 (including CST, RN, Aides, and leadership)
- Shift: Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Variety based on specialty
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Urology, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics
Job Details
- Must be able to take call; schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital staff
- Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue
- Typical procedures include robotics (gynecology, urology, general), cystoscopy, breast procedures, knee scopes, and total joint surgeries

- Experience in GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, and Orthopedics
