Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position
Location
- Statesboro, Georgia
Employment Type
- Travel contract
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
OR - 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Call required: 1-2 nights per week (1st and 2nd call), plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks

- Operating Room with 9 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- EMR system: Cerner
- Scrub color: Green
Job Description
- Provide circulating nursing care in the Operating Room, including pulling supplies and equipment for cases
- Assist surgeons by scrubbing and supporting during surgical procedures
- Communicate with families and update physician preference cards
- Supervise personnel delivering patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
- Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
