Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Neonatal ICU

Location

  • Savannah, Georgia

Employment Type

  • Travel contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Weekly hours: 36

Unit and Work Environment

  • Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Patient population: Neonatal and Pediatric ICU critical care patients
  • Equipment used: Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV), Vaportherm, heliox therapy
  • Documentation system: Epic
  • Shift schedule: 7 PM, 12-hour shifts
  • Dress code: Hunter Green uniform

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • Ability to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in pediatric ICU settings using Servo-U ventilator
  • Experience setting up and managing heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
  • Proficiency with non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
