Description
Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units within close proximity
- Must be willing to take call
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
- Orientation available on specific dates; earlier start dates prioritized
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current experience in Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab
- Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification
- Circulating experience in Cath Lab
- Monitoring experience in Cath Lab
- Travel experience within the previous 18 months is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Skills checklist specific to Cath Lab discipline
- Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural heart experience
- Interventional Radiology experience
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Scrubbing proficiency
- Peripheral vascular experience
Additional Information
- Call back pay and on-call pay provided
- Charge/precept pay available
- Employee separation policy restricts certain past employees from working travel contracts in this market
