Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (Willits Clinic, Basalt, CO)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (approximately 38 hours/week)
• Weekdays only, no weekends
• Weekday schedule may vary

Job Description

• Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans for various diagnoses
• Focus on improving patient strength, range of motion (ROM), balance, safety, and function
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Position supports reducing patient wait times by increasing rehab staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of Rehabilitation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Physical Therapist experience

Additional Information

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• CAPS requirement applies and may take up to two weeks to obtain (state-specific credentialing)
• Housing opportunity available: furnished studio and small one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry included)
• No pets allowed in housing; no deposit required
