Description
Registered Nurse – Kidney Transplant
Location: Fairfax, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
On Call/Weekend: No on call or weekend requirements
Float Requirement: None
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a kidney transplant unit (8D).
- May come into contact with COVID-19 patients.
- Facility requires all travelers to have flu vaccination.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in acute care and clinic settings.
- Experience in transplant nursing.
- Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
