Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Location: Kremmling, Colorado (with coverage in Granby & Fraser, CO)
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) at a Critical Access Hospital (Trauma Level IV).
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.
• Utilize clinical pathways to achieve patient outcomes.
• Night shift schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 2 call shifts.
• Holidays and on-call shifts are required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

Additional Information

• Shared housing may be available within 30 miles (no smoking, no pets, no families/partners).
• All requests for time off must be disclosed during the interview process.
• Work is performed at 7,000 feet elevation, approximately 2 hours west of Denver.

Hours

• 32 hours per week (3 twelve-hour night shifts + 2 call shifts)
