Description
Registered Nurse - OR (Surgery Unit)
Location: Hendersonville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Unit: Surgery (RN)
- Number of Beds: 10
- Patient Ratio: 1 RN per surgery
- Staffing: 11 RN positions, supported by unit secretaries and techs
- Equipment: Surgical
- Documentation System: MEDITECH
- Scheduling: 24-hour coverage
- Floating Policy: Not applicable
- Patient Experience Role: RN Circulating
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

- Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
- Unit follows hospital policies and guidelines
- No prior travel experience required or specified
- No floating expected on this unit
