Job Description

• Maternal/Fetal Medicine (MFM) / Obstetrics (OB) sonographer role
• Requires OB/GYN registration with experience in high-risk obstetrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics (OB)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Must hold a valid professional license appropriate for an MFM sonographer in Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted)
• ARRT certification required

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license and certification within 30 days of start date; must be updated upon expiration
• N95 Respirator Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually; no exemptions allowed
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
• TB screening: Negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including international residence/travel history for last 7 years
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Education verification of highest degree achieved
• Social Security Number trace for last 7 years
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor-level reference
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state details
• Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
• Some locations have specific preferences for BLS certification provider (AHA preferred)
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (optional but recommended)
• Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
