CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Alamosa, Colorado
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift:

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (with call)
• Monday/Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Rotating call on Fridays (about every 8th Friday)
• Potential schedule variations based on coverage needs
• Block scheduling available (Monday-Friday)

Job Overview

• Combined CT Tech and X-ray Tech role
• Daily caseload: 35-50 patients
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to a nearby sister facility (~15 minutes away)
• Busy Level III trauma center with a wide range of CT and X-ray procedures (diagnostic, fluoroscopy, surgery cases)
• No cardiac CT scans currently, but planned in the near future
• High OR volume with ortho and pain management cases
• Breast radiologist available Mondays and Tuesdays; interventional radiologist Thursdays and Fridays
• Charting system: Meditech
• Parking: Free with pass from HR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• X-ray experience required
• Radiology Technologist experience required

Experience & Other Requirements

• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call required (including holidays)
• Weekend work not regularly scheduled but possible for call
• Locals accepted, no local radius restrictions
• Must present requested time off upfront for approval
• Must pass competency exams (medication/pharmacology and general competency) with minimum 80% score or Angoff standard

Additional Preferences

• Experience with MediTech and GE/Siemens equipment preferred
