CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Assignment

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• 750-bed hospital with a busy CT department averaging ~130 scans per day
• 24/7 staffing: lead tech plus three techs on dayshift, split shift 9a-9p, and one night shift tech 7p-7a (aiming for two but limited by staffing)
• Equipment includes GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse EMR (Meditech)

Typical Procedures

• CTA chest, neck, abdomen
• CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program)
• CT head with stroke protocol

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• Assessment of CT technologist skills and knowledge or education on handling hazardous drugs according to USP 800 standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE scanners
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR

• This is a travel assignment in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment
• Candidates without the required skills and certifications will not be considered
