Technologist - X-Ray (Nights)

Work Schedule
Nights, approximately 36-40 hours per week (billable overtime after 40 hours)
Unit Information
- Must be proficient with Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, GE OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm.
- Operating room experience required, especially with C-arms and O-arms.
- Support all Radiology areas including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams.
- Will float across multiple campuses within the area.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
- Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience using Siemens fixed general radiography equipment
- Experience using Carestream portable units
- Experience using GE OEC C-arms
- Experience using Medtronic O-arm
- Surgery fluoroscopy experience
- Current or recent Operating Room experience
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Additional Information
- Orientation date available.
- EMR system used: EPIC.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- On-call and charge/precept pay available.
- Must comply with employee separation policy regarding prior employment within the system.
