Infusion RN - Day Shift (Vermont)

Job Type

• Contract position
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (40 hours/week)
• Start: ASAP, with orientation starting on a Wednesday

Location

• St Johnsbury, Vermont
• Rural community setting
• Reliable personal transportation required (no public transit or rideshare available)
• Travelers responsible for securing their own housing; local housing resources can be provided

Role Overview

• Provide direct clinical care and administrative support in a busy infusion center (15-20 patients per day)
• Administer intravenous therapies safely and compassionately
• Coordinate infusion services including scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews
• Communicate effectively with providers, payers, and care teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and document teaching efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and medication/transfusion logs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
