CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), rotating call required

Job Description

• Perform all CT exams and x-ray procedures for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide timely diagnostic services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
• Work schedule may accommodate 4x10 hour shifts but 5x8 hour shifts are preferred (must specify preference in submission).
• Call is required on a rotating basis.
• No floating to other departments.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Max return to office (RTO) time is 1 week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Work involves both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
• EMR system used: Cerner Change Healthcare PACS.
• 48-hour shift guarantees may be approved.
