Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Provide critical care to seriously ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform complex procedures.
- Respond rapidly to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- ICU staffing ratio typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1.
- Float to Emergency Department to manage holds and sometimes care for med-surg patients (5:1 ratio).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 5 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
- On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum payout.
- Applicants living within 50 miles of the job location may be considered for a reduced travel rate.
- Former direct employees of the facility are subject to a 6-month non-compete period before eligibility for agency placement.
