Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit focused on optimizing post-surgical patient care per surgeon preference.
- Established order sets and protocols with a great team atmosphere.
- Unit size: 37 beds
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Shift: Days, 7 AM to 7 PM
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required
- Block scheduling not available
- Preferred EMR: Cerner (not required)
- Scrub colors: Black, royal blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver's License
Additional Information
- No blackout dates or required holidays for return to office (RTO)
- Maximum amount of RTO allowed: 0
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week
- No prior travel experience explicitly required for this role
