Description
Orthopedic Surgical Technician
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week
Call: Required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Surgical Technician Certification
- Experience with robotics and advanced surgical technology
Role Overview
- Provide intraoperative support for orthopedic surgical procedures
- Manage orthopedic implants, grafts, and instrumentation
- Support additional surgical specialties when not assigned to orthopedic cases
Additional Expectations
- Flexibility to adapt to different teams, workflows, and case volumes
- Ability to support departmental staffing needs
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives
- Compliance with facility policies
