Description

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Assignment Details

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Utah
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS or ENPC
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Information

Emergency department float assignment between the main ED and FSEDs
32-bed main ED and two FSED units with 10 and 12 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary
No on-call requirement

Scheduling

4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period

Clinical Focus

Procedures performed include intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
