Description
Travel RN – Emergency Department
Assignment Details
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS or ENPC
- TNCC
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Information
- Emergency department float assignment between the main ED and FSEDs
- 32-bed main ED and two FSED units with 10 and 12 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary
- No on-call requirement
Scheduling
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Clinical Focus
- Procedures performed include intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
Candidate Traits
