Telemetry Nurse

Location

Night shift
3x12-hour shifts
19:00–07:00

Role Overview

Registered Nurse role on a cardiac-focused unit
Patient ratio: 1:5–6
Unit includes private rooms and cares for young adult through geriatric patients
Common patient population includes stable cardiac patients and patients recovering from cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary stent placement, and pacemaker implantation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
