Operating Room Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours
Weekly hours: 40
On-call required
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health and Compliance Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit testing with 3M N95 Model 1860
Tdap vaccination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Positive titers required for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Annual COVID vaccination or approved exemption
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Color blindness testing prior to start

Facility Notes

Scrubs are provided for the OR
Any scrub color is acceptable
