Description
RN - OR
Assignment Overview
- Travel RN position in Augusta, Georgia
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Main operating room setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
Key Clinical Experience
- Must be able to work orthopedic major joint cases
- General surgery, urology (open and cysto), and minor vascular experience are needed
- Major vascular experience is a plus
Schedule
- Call shifts: 4 to 5 per 4 weeks
- Weekend rotation
- No set schedule
Work Environment
- 13 operating rooms
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- May be required to float to assist in other areas if the OR is shut down
- Performs all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eyes
