RN - OR

Assignment Overview

Travel RN position in Augusta, Georgia
Contract length: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Main operating room setting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
Urology experience
Vascular Surgery experience

Key Clinical Experience

Must be able to work orthopedic major joint cases
General surgery, urology (open and cysto), and minor vascular experience are needed
Major vascular experience is a plus

Schedule

Call shifts: 4 to 5 per 4 weeks
Weekend rotation
No set schedule

Work Environment

13 operating rooms
Patient ratio: 1:1
May be required to float to assist in other areas if the OR is shut down
Performs all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eyes

Scrubs are provided
Parking garage available with no parking fees
Cafeteria on site
Sterile processing is on the same floor
