Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Location: New Ulm, Minnesota
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates not accepted within 100 miles
- Pending license accepted
- Block schedule may be considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
- FHM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV Start capability
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Intermediate
- Charge nurse experience
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend coverage requested every other weekend, with every third weekend worked
- No on-call requirement
- Typical patient ratios: days 1:3, nights 1:2-3, weekends 1:2-3
- Average daily census: 1-2

- Scrubs are provided

- Epic charting system used
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start is required
- Tdap is required
- Respiratory safety clearance is required
