Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour evening and night shifts
• Some day shifts may be needed
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• 2 years of ER experience
• Pediatric experience
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Job Setting

• Emergency and urgent care unit
• Adult and pediatric Level 2 trauma center
• STEMI receiving center
• Stroke center
• 38-bed combined emergency and urgent care unit
• 5 trauma bays/resuscitation rooms

Key Responsibilities

• Triage patients arriving by ambulance
• Float only as a patient sitter or helping hands
• Draw labs as needed
• Keep an eye on patient rhythms
• Assist with troubleshooting respiratory equipment when needed

Additional Details

• No self-scheduling
• No call requirement
• Orientation is 3 days
• Solid-color, clean, professional scrubs required
• Must clock in and out at the facility
