Work Schedule

• Day shift, 5 days per week
• 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week

Experience Requirements

• Ultrasound Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience

Required Certifications

• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS
• ARDMS
• NT
• NIHSS

Licensure and Documentation

• Driver's License
• Education verification required (highest level of education must be verified)
• 7-year background check within 1 year of start date, updated annually
• Employment eligibility verification (E-Verify) required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, must be renewed annually
• Immunizations and health requirements:

  • Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters required if negative/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Additional Requirements

• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not eligible
• Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
• Work history verification for 7 years required; New Jersey mandates at least 1 year prior work verification with no gaps over 30 days
• Clear headshot photo required for badge
• Competency exams and color blindness testing required as applicable
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance required

This position offers a structured day shift schedule with a focus on maternal fetal ultrasound within radiology/cardiology specialties. It is suitable for candidates with at least 2 years of experience and appropriate certifications, including ARDMS OB/GYN. First-time travel techs are welcome. Compliance with comprehensive health, background, and documentation requirements is mandatory.
