RN - Behavioral Health
Overview
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Unit Details
- Adult psychiatric unit
- 48 beds across 3 units
- Patient ratio: 1:10
- May float to a senior care unit
- No on-call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Psychiatric (1 year of experience)
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with de-escalation of patients with mental illness
Preferred
- Behavioral health experience
Typical Responsibilities
- Admissions and discharges
- Ongoing assessments for suicidality and safety
- Nurse rounding to ensure patient safety and needs are met
