Job Overview
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Start: ASAP
- Schedule notes: On call as needed; may float to the main OR
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- First Assist (3 years of experience)
- First Assist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CNOR - Certified Nurse (OR)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Emergency contact form before start
- CORI release
- Annual background checks and required state/federal screenings
- Online color blind testing before start
- Pass/fail testing and competency testing as required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit testing required
- Tdap vaccination
- TB clearance documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Annual COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- 2 recent work references
- Annual skills checklist
Work Setting Notes
- Scrubs are provided for OR
- Any scrub color is acceptable
