RN - Med Surg
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- HHCCA De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical experience
- Medical experience
- Mom/baby experience with NRP preferred
Unit Details
- Med/Surg/Onc unit
- 30 beds
- Estimated patient ratios: 1:1 to 3:1
- RN staffing varies by census, with 4-6 RNs on day and night shifts
- Typical procedures include cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
Work Environment
- Remote tele equipment
- Meditech EMR
- Independent work style may be needed, including working with one other RN or alone
